I made #TheOverParty, an early attempt at crisis comms strategy.
To achieve a BA in Communication Studies, students with a Public Relations focus were required to showcase their developing skills in strategy, messaging, and design their senior year. I chose to hone in on crisis communications given the increasingly dramatic overall 2016-2017 social climate.
With social media and hashtags on the rise, I named my project, #TheOverParty.

- A blog identifying various, then-current opportunities to conduct crisis comms
- Scenarios outlined fluctuated between fiction and real life
- Analyses of each situation are fleshed out in each post (i.e. target audience, objectives, suggested approaches)
- A mock website made in conjunction with one of the scenarios analyzed in the blog
- Kanye West's Life of Pablo concert in San Jose was one of the most highlighted pop culture crises at the time
- Drafted anticipated PR asset to address the situation and its affect on Kanye's following
