I've built media relationships & secured coverage for awesome brands.
eeroeero, a wi-fi routing system, (and one of my first ever clients) was doing their Black Friday/holiday gift guide push when I first joined Codeword. Over the course of my pitching efforts, the company's gained recognition in a review by TalkAndroid, TechnoBuffalo (twice - a giveaway and a Black Friday deal piece), and Travel + Leisure roundup.

RenovoRenovo Auto was an automotive client with a mission to integrate multiple applications that provide self-driving car functions and features (i.e. sensors, lidar, cameras, etc.) into one operating system, called AWare. By leveraging its partnerships and collabs with AI innovators and big names like Verizon, I was able to catch the attention of Automobile Magazine and Silicon Valley Business Journal, in addition to securing a rad feature story on TheStreet.

MuxStreaming video became a game changer very rapidly - from independent live streamers to giant telecom corporations wanting to put skin in the game. Enter Mux, a video API startup focused on making streaming easier for casters and viewers alike while democratizing video. Its launch was captured in Forbes. Through efforts to push thought leadership surrounding media reinvention's all-time high, we had the CEO quoted in a roundup curated by TheStreet.

WisdoWisdo revolutionized the traditional social media model by building a platform connecting users through shared experiences to make mental wellness more accessible to, well, everyone. I secured a company mention in a social media roundup in Forbes, in addition to accompanying the team on a media tour with the rest of the PR team surrounding its launch. I've also secured a feature in GearBrain upon the announcement of its partnership with Duke University.

Fix the MaskTwo ex-Apple employees left their positions at the tech giant to address the global issue of the lack of accessible PPE. From three rubber bands to a rubber sheet cutout to a successful Kickstarter for a more flexible (and glasses-friendly) solution, Fix the Mask created an Essential Mask Brace to make mask filtration more effective.
In the process, CEO Sabrina Paseman got close with FastCo reporter Adele Peters, who wrote on the early versions of the mask brace before covering the most recent variation that launched once the company turned for-profit. |

Upon establishing themselves as a forward-looking resource, CEO Mehul Patel shared his thought leadership on the future of work in the face of the pandemic—including ditching the Hired headquarters (BI, Cheddar). |
